Who we are
UNI-VE is operated by NEXTLEAP, a company registered in the European Union (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described on this page. Contact: Not stated.
Without an account
Calculations you run without signing in happen in your browser. The numbers and text you type are not sent to our servers. If you choose to save, your inputs are kept in your browser’s own storage for up to one hour so they survive the sign-in step, and are removed when you return. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP addresses in its server logs to deliver and protect the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
With an account
When you sign in and save your work, the following applies. Legal basis: providing the service you asked for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Sign-in uses a one-time link sent to your email address. We store your email address to keep your account.
- While you are signed in, the numbers you enter are sent to our server to calculate results. They are stored only when you save.
- We store what you save: your inputs, the results we compute from them, the proposal text, and account details you enter (such as name and company), so you can see your history.
- When paid plans are switched on, payments are handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and status. We do not receive or store your card number.
- When AI wording is switched on, the text of a draft (including the numbers in it) is sent to an AI model through OpenRouter to be reworded. We configure it to use only model providers that state they do not collect prompts. Numbers are computed by our own code, not by the AI model, and every number in the reworded text is checked against our calculation.
Service providers
We use these providers to run UNI-VE. They process data on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Supabase: database and sign-in.
- Stripe: payments, when paid plans are switched on.
- OpenRouter: routing to AI model providers, when AI wording is switched on.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they offer under the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We do not store what you type without an account. Account data and saved work are kept while your account is open and deleted after you ask us to close it, except where the law requires us to keep records (for example, invoices).
Cookies
These pages do not set advertising or analytics cookies. When you sign in, we set essential cookies that keep you signed in. They are needed for the service to work and are removed when you sign out or they expire.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Write to Not stated. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your EU country.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for important changes, tell you by email.
